Standard 3m2 gazebo size. If your pitch is larger, smaller, or a different shape please let us know well in advance - Is there electricity?
Power points are very limited, from a standard UK 3-pin 13A socket (maximum load 3kW). If you need power please let us know well in advance. - Is there a water supply?
There is no water available on site, nor drainage (other than the public toilets in Market Square) - Is there a rubbish or recycling facility?
We ask all traders to take their waste away. - What time can I arrive?
Your welcome letter will have this information. It’s normally from 8am onwards. Please respect direction instructions from marshals as we run a “one car in, one car out” system and there could be a queue to enter. Unloading your vehicle quickly once you are in the market square reduces congestion. - Where is the vehicle entrance?
See this map - Can I leave my vehicle in the market area?
No, unless it’s essential for trading, for example Fish & Chip van. Speak to us well in advance if this is the case. - Where can I park my vehicle?
- Rother District Council operate paid car parks in Market Road, which are adjacent to Market Square. The Upper car park charges per hour, the Lower car park charges per day.
- A private parking company operates Jempson’s car park, payment is by Sippi app. We believe the fees are lower here than in the Rother car parks, but if you do park here please don’t obstruct the access route between Market Road and Market Square (see map) as we stack vehicles here when there is a queue for entry.
- Free parking is available in the “Overflow car park” near the bottom of Mount Street Car Park (7 minutes walk from Market Square), although it is often full
